This song is a universal tale of early settlement and the associated horrors suffered by Indigenous people, that we feel is best summed up by the line "Another act of devastation, in the name of COLONISATION!”.

We are releasing this song on INVASION DAY (aka “Australia Day”), because although we love our country, we are sickened by the often watered down history that claims settlement was anything less than a HOSTILE TAKE OVER.

We personally feel a guilt for benefiting from the lifestyle of our colonial ancestors. We, Hounds Of Modestine, would like to apologise to all traditional land owners.
